You would be pissed off at how cheap I get RC's for. Also I am not sure you can just buy them new from BBS. Maybe? not sure since they are a stock wheel on an old BMW. But they are easy to get on forums. BBS RS on the other hand are not easy to come by and parts are expensive because of how desired they are.

Let's take your finished RCs on your MTII, 1,200 or so MAX. You can get a really clean set for 800, so I am leaving a good chunk on there for your finished set. But let's take a set of BBS RS003 lowest I have ever seen is 1,600. A seller on here sold his for 1,950 not more than a week ago. Refinished with wider lips is about 2,500+ so how can a RC ever get into that market? Never in their life. And I am not even touching on the rarer 17-18 RS' that go for about 3-6k. There is a set on ebay in 18s that is at 5,300 and change.

But you would have to be a moron to look at a RC and say it is a RS. If you disagree you can revert to the foremost of my last sentence ;)

I am not a hater of the RC one little bit, I think they look great on the 5 and 6 models.

Thats what I'm saying...although you can do the RS hex conversion. But the lips and waffle kinda give it away.

Did you know that the only difference between 18" style 5s and super RS's is how the Centercaps mount? The spokes are identical and the barrels are interchangeable.
