tow truck driver bent my bumper. who to contact?

I had my car towed yesterday. They used the front tow hook to secure the car and must have pulled so hard that side of the bumper came out and down. It doesnt line up at all anymore. Who Should i contact AAA? my insurance company? Id like to avoid calling the tow company. Thanks

Call AAA. Had to get my 745i towed from NYC to CT once, towing company sent a wheel lift truck instead of a flatbed and ruined the tranny.

It was a bit of a process, but they paid up eventually.

Did it pull the bumper shocks out of the frame rail? Sounds like the car might be pretty bad off...

Tow company is who I was told to go through when they ripped my rear tow hook out. Since that's how they secures it it rolled forward into the bed

Tow drivers despise me. Every time ive had any car towed i demand a flatbed and I am a huge pain in the ass when it comes to loading my vehicle. Whether its my E30 or my DD beater Tahoe. I dont let them do anything wrong.

Same here. You literally have to watch everything they do.

Well i put in a claim with aaa. I was able to push it up enoigh to make me happy. Its still a little forward and im sure i could fix it but im gona wait this out and see what happens.

Last time mine gave up, I removed the iS lip and drove it on to the ramp myself :D
