    Failed smog.. How bad?

This is my smog result. The guy I bought the car from ran it only with 87 octane for 3 years and it clearly says 91 premium gasoline only on the gas door. Also the intake boot has a slit that can only be seen when you push down a little on it. I've ran about 3 full tanks of shell/chevron 91 octane and changed the spark plugs. How bad is it and what do you guys think the problem is?

A lean condition will cause that. It will cause both high HC, and high NOx PPM due to the higher temp of the burn.
A lean condition will be caused by a ripped intake boot.

There are more reasons. But that's staring you right in the face.

87 octane is fine for e30s.

might want to replace your o2 sensor as well.

Change the intake boot. Make sure you get your cats nice and hot when you are going to the smog place. Run it hard on your way there. Keep you car running when you are there too, so they stay hot.
