    Acetone might have an effect of gasket and seal breakdown.

      I could only see that as a possiblity if the gasket was somehow composed of plastic.

                  The use of Acetone is more or less for better gas mileage rather than just an intake booster.

                        What about performance. I remember watching top gear this summer and one of em made a car that ran on cow shit fumes or something. Only it performed noticably worse than the normal gas cars. Does acetone have an effect here?
