puting your e30 on jack stands

well im about to put my e30 on jack stands, and i was wondering what is the safest possible positions to place 4 jack stands?

my plan was to put them on the rocker panel jacking points, but i would like to have a few more opinions :P

It depends on what you are doing, but i like the front and rear subframes. Place the stands as wide as possible. I also like the the front frame rails .

        This.

As long as your frame rails aren't rusty dusty.

I'm not a complete moron lol.
i know that would pretty much make my car a fire hazard with a faulty gas tank and ruined floor boards lol.

I've just never have owned or used jack stands, and i just found my dads old set in the tool shed.
and i need the bottle caps for my e21, so i was inquiring about jack stand placement, I'm no car genius nor do i claim to be. gotta learn some where.

When I did all my brakes I just used the frame itself. Depending on the job you're looking to do that may or may not work for you. If I'm just doing work on the front I use the frame on the sides a bit before it goes up (where the control arm bushing is).

                    like wont work wrong offset?
i had a my rear tire blow out on my turbines, and every other tire including the spare is just as sketchy as the one that gave out.
i don't want to buy new tires for the turbines so i thought it would be a good idea to just put my bottle caps on there.

                    but i do have my RF's 15x7 et25 on 195/50/15
would those work better? wheel gap will be included though :(

                      Yes.

I think you need at least a 10mm spacer in the front (dont quote me, it could be 15mm). The rears will clear but look retarded.

E21 chassis has a unique offset compared to other bmw 4x100's

I dont think they would fit either. I suggest you go outside and try one.
                            E21 wants a 10-15mm offset, generally.

This. And I like to throw a folded up shop towel on the stand to avoid undercoat damage.
