m50 swapped car.... should i pull the trigger?

i think im going to pass and look for an m30 or an m50 locally.... i talked to the guy on the phone and he has the intelligence of a 13 year old..... thanks for the info. i can get my hands on all of the parts.its just a matter of all the electrical and misc things about the swap that i dont think i can do. i have a friend who is really into e36s that can help me, but i dont think its enough and i dont have 2k to pay someone to swap it for me... thats the only reason im looking for a pre swapped car

I'd at least check on the condition of the engine and get a background on that. You might be able to buy as a parts car and use the engine for a modest m50 swap. Or if youd on't have a car run.

When I see a for sale ad that tells me the car has been beat to death, I walk away immediately. You should do the same. For what you pay for that car, you could just swap an M50 in your own.
