    A bit off topic, but I was under the impression that all 325i's had the battery in the boot. Is it a vert thing or a US thing to have it up front?

      I believe all verts had a battery in the front.

              We saw a similar E30 with appendages up here in Seattle a while back, I'll look for pictures. Anyway, they had grafted on Testarossa style fins on the doors, etc etc. It was way over the top, though the craftsmanship was excellent. Of course, the question was why????

              Turns out the car had been commisioned by Ann Wilson of the rock band Heart back in the day. So it all started to make sense.
