you'll find the perfect e30 for you, if you can always run by your potential purchases with knowledgeable people on r3v (mods) and not in public forums, in private messages, the last thing you want to do is post up the link to a spankin good deal on a fresh e30, on an e30 enthusiast forum. that shit will be gone lol.
Definitely, Thanks for the help man. Hahahaha I feel you dude, next time won't be starting a thread with possible buys, now i'm informed enough to save and look around. May be hittin you up in the near future for your opinion

So I know we concluded I'd continue my search but the guy with the 325e emailed me and just thought I'd relay what he said.

" im guessing you are a young guy and I have no problem going over
the car with you and telling you everything you might want to do. So
that way you can look up part prices online and get an accurate
budget. Last thing you want to do is start a project and not be
finacially prepared. It is a 5 speed. i change the oil every 3500
      miles with mobile one
fully synthetic and a bosh or mobile 1 oil filter. Brake fluid needs
changed. I did the spark plugs at 120,000 (bosh). I had the front
control arms done about 3 years ago. but the car does need a tire
balance i have started to get the shakes with the wheel at 60 mph.
never have had a major problem with the engine. the top half of the
engine was rebuilt by the previous owner at around 100,000 I believe.
Everything works inside the car. odometer, power windows, power
sunroof. leather is ok for being 26 years old. The main problems
with this car is the exhaust and the cosmetic problems on the outside
of the car, but it is still a clean title and the frame is fine. I
did the rear brake pads at around 140,000 and the front
at around 130,000. It was also leaking oil about 10,000 miles ago but
it was due to a worn seal on the oil pressure sensor and that was
replaced and doesnt leek oil anymore. when i did the spark
plugs i didn't have any oil on my old ones. sorry i dont have
maintencance records I try and do most preventive maintenance myself.
I know I am all over the place in this email but I don't want to leave
anything out. Honestey it is a great car and I know it has a lot of
life left in it. Just needs some TLC. Oh and it does have the sport
seats which are awesome and a M wheel. You can contact me at
(xxx)xxx-xxxx(text or call). out of state area code because I am in
the military. but this is a california car. I also have the carfax."

      Still not worth the look?

kudos to him for the nice response.

i really miss my eta. it was the perfect DD. 325is are geared too high, the 325e is geared perfect for highway cruising. the ix is even worse.

325i's arnt geared to high. its only 1000 rpms higher than a eta. I currently have both. I love how a eta can be a cruzer but the b25 just kills in power and even its a good cruzer.
However im selling the 325i and keeping the eta for 2.7i reasons :D
