The JPS cars were dealer built by BMW Australia to celebrate the success of the 635i in the Australian Touring Car Championship. Pretty sure there were 150 e21s, and 150 e30s. They could be had as either 318is or 323is, although most were 323i. They featured recaros, LSD, m-technic suspension, motorsport bodykit + JPS Black and Gold livery, headers and a fat exhaust. There was also a e21 "Motorsport" model that was basically were the same, but M badges, in white with M-sport stripes instead of the JPS livery. The 150 e21s were split between JPS and Motorsport versions.

Of all of those, there wouldn't be too many left.

Unfortunately they're basically just dealer options, not limited editions in the true sense of some of the other models. Now had BMW Australia fitted Alpina engines to the JPS like the South Africans did with their 325is, then that would have been a bit more special :)

That's pretty cool, though I'm not big on the mudflaps..

Funny they mention how bad BMW's records are from that time - the same with Alpina. Even they didn't have the best records before the E30 models were done. Must have just been a huge cultural shift in the German business world in the early 80's.

Tuner wise I think the AC Schnitzer 323i Turbo S3 is among the real rare ones.
It was one of the first S3's they build, I've only ever seen one of them, it was before they started designing their own kit.
It had Zender bodykit, ACS interior bits, and a 323i engine with the turbo bits from the E21 323i Turbo.

Add says 1 of 5, so very limited number.
Also says 2,7 Turbo, but it should be 2,3.

It could be original, bear in mind Schnitzer only launched their first S3's in 1988 along with the S7 E32.
If the car is build before that date, it would have no papers, maybe a receipt on enginge tuning, but that would be all.
I'll tell you one thing though, the dead pedal is the wrong style.
Here is the part number in the first brochure for the Turbo parts.

                            Hey guys,

To make things a bit clear about this 's edition' 320i e30 i contacted BMW classic group in germany for details of this car.

First of all, s edition (1985)and SE packages (1986) are not the same:

The 's edition' has only been sold in europe and was made in 1985 in a 320i 2-door version with standard: the 129bhp engine, just one color option wich was diamond black 181, manual slide sunroof, front and back spoiler, 635csi striping, electric windows and mirrors, m sports suspension,m-sports steering wheel, green thermal glass, alloy 14 inch wheels and a manual black antenna. Sportseats, differential, AC etc were optional...

In 1986' SE packages came available for other e30 models like a 4 door 320i, 325i etc...

The 's edition' is NOT a more exciting or expensive car as a 325i m technic or an M3 EVO, but you will not see them often, even here in europe...for a non-tuned (alpina/hartge) e30, it is pretty rare...

Not trying to be a wise guy here but its obvious that this limited edition has character and stands out amongst other 320i's...

Ps: i am not mr 'tcos' haha

I have seen that as well.
I've seen one go for 6000 Euro with the engine, wheels and steering wheel installed by ACS themselves in Aachen, unfortunately it was an automatic.
                              It was a white Touring.

                                One other thing.
ACS didn't do fully build cars with everything from the E30 program, it was like when buying a car from scratch, the new owner could decide what parts he wanted.
