        Looks like it'll carry the weight of a surfboard pretty well. Think i might pick one up myself.

            That is from roofracks.com or some bullshit I bought the sane one and jig rigged a Yakima fairing to it. That price is about the same as the website.

                I was thinking of those Dakine pads for the rack rails. Then I'm not really sure what to use to fasten board...bungee chords I guess.

                    Pick up a set of these from Thule for locks:



                    They are threaded just like a regular knob, so all you would need is a bolt the correct length and diameter/thread pitch.

                          ^that wooden rack looks great

                          I, for one, love the look of a Thule rack. It just goes with the car.
