    Because Drift Car?

    I was looking for an engine harness for my S50 and spotted what looked like a lime green E36. This is what I discovered upon a closer look. It's not everyday you find a caged ex drift E36 M3 in there.
















    Pics of when it was in one piece I found with some googling.









    I found who's car it was and it turns out I have a few friends in common with him on FB, so I'm waiting for him to respond to my request so I can ask him myself. In the mean time, anyone know what happened?

                Im sure the owner pulled the drivetrain/ anything and everything worth money before selling it to a yard...

                    the engine went in his new chassis the 4 door purple car, the green chassis got pretty beat up after a few seasons, so it was time for a new one
