most hipsters are in denial and claim that they are NOT hipsters when they are the epitome of the loose definition. i live in the heart of LA hipsterville, silver flake. and the new thing with the hipsters are mopeds.
so would this be a good or bad sign that someone is marketing safety equipment to them....

Please correct me on my there, their, and there're too....(i know some of em are wrong, didnt feel like fixing em)
I really dont care if i spell a few things wrong, this isnt a theses its a post...at least im not writing incoherent garble like ive seen some people try to pass as a paragraph.
Actually i do have a driveway, but this is Brooklyn NOT long island, theres 1 other person with a driveway on the block and i have more than one car. Its not fun looking for parking knowing that half the cars that are on the block arent really people who live there or visiting. Its a pain in the ass if you have company over and its a pain looking for parking for yourself. You obviously have not had to deal with the stupidity of some of these people, i just LOVE it when they feel that the driveway is a parking spot for them to use as well.
As for the shop, you try having a business that your family has owned for the past 50 or so years, staying up to code only to have the hipster that not only complains about the smell but also thinks the garage roof is not only his ash tray for cigarette butts but also his garbage pale. And now having to deal with complaints from said hipster, when he clearly moved into a condo which was directly next to an auto shop.
I wouldnt mind if he was a normal nice human being, who didnt use our roof as his personal garbage pale. Were all friendly here, if he had come over and just talked to us...no he decides to complain to the landlord and than proceed to not pay rent until something is done.
Yes due to this i am programmed to not like hipsters, but i will say there are some that are just as good natured as you and me...but in this area a large percentage of them are simply trust fund babies who have no respect for others property, or their own for that matter.
Where i live used to be a nice old style Italian neighborhood, all the neighbors knew each other and it was a nice tight knit community...now a lot of em have left and new people have moved in. Yes its wonderful for the area in terms of property value and business...but with the good also comes the crap, i cant tell you how many friday/saturday mornings i need to go out and pick up the flower pots in front of the garage that some drunk knocked over..just because. Or the useless stencil about some kind of artist or just plain ole crap that some hipster decided would be nice to spray on my sidewalk...its a lot of small things that add up and again im not saying there ALL bad...but its a fairly large percentage.
for all these years I thought I was a yuppy from what people told me, now I'm a hipster. I guess I'm gonna have to go buy some skinny jeans to look like a girl.
