She did have the "her tires flat and the cops is to proper spec" thing correct. If your tires were all flat your tire diameter would be smaller. a cops speedometer would be dead on at 80. Your speedo would be showing 80 but the vehicle would only be doing 79.5 taking longer to go 80 miles.

How does it slip your mind that 80 miles per hour means it takes an hour? I could see under the influence how this could be possible but she sounds like a moron with no real logic flowing in her brain.

Well since you're going 80 you would cut it in half and then you have 40, and I run the mile in like 7 minutes when I'm in really good shape, I'd say thats about 10 miles an hour and thats more than a mile a minute so it has to be less than an hour.

Maybe the guy wanted an easy out, I know I would after a response like that. Just whack that marriage in half.
