I use "Thickster" brand. I generally have to order the XXL (they don't make XXXL).
I get them from either NAPA or Wesco Autobody supply. I do believe you have both of those stores locally.
They are more than twice the price of other nitrile gloves, but they kick ass. I re-use them sometimes for days. They are available powdered or non-powdered.

My father in-law works at the Salk Institute, so I just have him bring me home a few boxes every couple of months. The medical-grade ones are thin and tear easily, but for free I can't complain.
I have used the "thicksters" before, mainly when I dropped my tranny. They hold up extremely well, but are expensive.
I use Costco nitrile gloves. They are cheap and pretty good and NOT POWDERED, unlike most places that carry them locally.
This. Used to be $15 for 2 boxes at my local Costco; they jacked it up to $20 now, but still a good deal. My boss will buy them for me through worldpac, but theirs suck so I don't even bother taking advantage.

I can't stand wearing gloves. I have huge hands, so firstly they don't fit well. Second, my hands get pretty warm, so they sweat a lot and my fingers look like prunes. I usually just wash my hands after with some simple green, or if it's really bad, I'll do a light spray of degreaser (terrible for your skin, but whatever).
