Do it and dont like it= sandblaster
Yeah it would be a pain though. I would just live with it.
Bedliner engine bay? Yay or nay

What you did looks fantastic, I'll have to do that at some point. Even though my engine bay doesn't need to look good, it still looks much better than what I did, and would be more durable.Leave a comment:

I think bed liner would actually compliment the pc on the valve cover and intake mani pretty well.Leave a comment:

This. I like something that can cover my mistakes very well. The one thing I like about bedliner is that anyone like myself who is half-retarded when it comes to paint+body work can make it look decent:

I'll throw this out there...if you like the mild textured look and want insane durability get Por-15 like Matt said. Spray it with low psi and you get something that looks like the finish in the OP's pic. Easier to clean, still top coatable, and virtually indestructible.Leave a comment:

I'm all for the bedliner idea, Lambo nailed it, look at that engine bay with it's beautiful wrinkle black, it'd look clean in a white bay, but in a a bedliner black bay with a similar texture to the engine it is going to look mad.
I'm about to paint my 280Z's engine bay, it's white and I'm thinking instead of the usuall black I might go for a nice refined charcoal.Leave a comment:
