Which brake pads/rotors are you currently using?

I'm curious to know what brake pads/rotors r3v members are using since I'm about to do my brakes as Easter break comes up. My recent pads were Hawks HP+ w/ brembo blank all around and they stopped quite well for DD and at autoX events. My only complaints were the noise and dust that it created.

What pads/rotors are you using, planning to use, or have used? Any reviews would be great!

I have the Hawk HP+ too, no excess dust and no noise, what rotors are you using? I have ATE Powerslot front and Brembo rear.

You're the second person to say this.
I need rotors, so I'll be keeping that in mind I suppose.

I'm about to redo my brakes. Do you notice any extra noise from the slotted discs up front?

Brembo slotted and HPS pads up front. Rears are what came with the car, as they have plenty of life left. I almost went for hps+ but I heard more than enough complaints for using them as a street pad.

The brembo and hps seems to be a good combo but I would say initial bite is fair and they need to warm up a bit to get maximum stopping power. I once had to make an emergency stop after driving just a short distance from home and I slammed the brakes and thought I was going to wreck until a half second later and they grabbed like no ones business. I had Ate premiumones and mintex pads on the front of my old Jetta and I thought they were a fantastic combo. It's nearly impossible to find mintex pads for e30s though.

Tire rack sells slotted brembo rotors for under $100 for the fronts, best deal you can get in brake rotors honestly. Had them on my 24v E30 with ATE pads and the bite was incredible. Granted they were $20 ATE pads, they dusted the front wheels like no one business. Which sucks with basket weaves.
