Yeah, some asshole thought it would be a great idea to steal my radio and destroy my climate control panel. He didnt touch anything else but the radio, I didnt even notice anything was gone until i had already turned the car on and was starting to back up. I flagged down the cops because they were all over the place. It turns out that a bunch of other cars were hit as well. Two houses down the street also got knocked over in the orgy of theft that was last night. I couldnt care less about my shitty radio, I'm just pissed they destroyed my center panel.

I had parked the car right in front of my fraternity house, so i thought that with as many ppl that pass by day and night that my car would be safe. Especially because everyone knows thats my car. So of course my dumb ass left it unlocked. I guess its better than broken windows though. They didnt touch anything else though, not my huge cd wallet or my cell phone that was sitting in the console.1987 325is - sold

That sucks man.
My radio isn't even solidly mounted. You can pull it out of the center console without any tools or anything. It's a crappy deck so if some one wants it, they can have it. I'd rather have it stolen then serious damage happen like what happened to you.Comment

I've had the chance to examine this now and they even ripped the wiring harness out. The insurance company called and they're going to cover it all, so thats good. The funny thing is that the cop handling the case showed up on my porch with a sack of bmw emblems inluding some M3 and M5 emblems asking if they were mine. First time, left the car unlocked, radio stolen, thats it.
Second time, locked it, broken window, stolen radio.
