Most people driving these cars ARE NOT ENTHUSIAST. I wouldn't givem and thumbs up either. If your driving a clean e28 e24 e30 e9 etc. Chances are your an enthusiast.

I sold my e30 to buy my e36 M3. M3 is a BLAST. Love it.

But I do miss my e30 a lot. When I eventually wreck the M3, I'm putting the S50 in an e30. Hands down.

I would be using the car to daily drive about 5 miles one way. Not long at all. Although, it does get very hot here in SC and a/c is a must.

Do you regret selling the E30? How is the fun level to drive each car compare?

Buy whichever one has solid working A/c. That's pretty much all I care about at this point.

I think I saw three E36 at the local star bucks this morning. You know what that tells me?

The e30 is certainly capable, but requires mods (and money) to be on the same level.
                      This 100%

Boils down to: out of the box faster and better handling. OR e30 and put e36 money into it to match.

You can now buy a nice e30 and swap a m50 or s50(find a deal) for under 4k. That is doing it yourself mind you.

e36's are not statues symbols, e46's are, but not e36's. I see to many of them just beat to shit, rarely see a nice clean one.

I daily an e30 from October till mid April and an e36 the rest of the year.

Stock, the e36 will be more comfortable, faster and better handling, more attractive to the opposite sex.

Whereas the e30 in stock form will always put a smile on your face when you drive it (i.e fun factor), is more fun to throw money at, will attract other men, better built interior and because race car.

So if you like other men, then choose the e36. And if you like other men, choose the e30. Either way your gay, but happy.

Between the two my choice for a dd would be the e36. And my choice for a race car or weekend car would be e30 hands down.

                                is an e36 325is really faster than an e30 325is? or 325i's
