        I paid 23,500 three years ago for a good example, and I've been a happy man since.
        Get your hands on one while they are still reasonably affordable.

            If you are complaining about good M3s going for $12k, you need to buy that 318is post haste. It is well known that regardless of what condition the e30 M3 you buy is in, it will easily cost you the difference to correct of what you would have paid to buy a clean one. Right now, that number is about $20k for a 8/10 with a good history, strong motor and under 150k miles.

                I'm a fan of the e30m3 body lines, nothing else, Realism3pro knows this.
                I've past up on really good deals on e30m3s just because I can't justify all of the s14 specific expenses.

                It's still a cool car to look at.
