    Nice, congrats.

I picked up a 9-5 Aero wagon to daily, I've never driven a car that was so comfortable. No problems yet (other than the clutch possibly being worn out). It gets great fuel economy, has tons of power, is super practical, and is a royal pain in the ass to work on.

I think they need it to boost there fleet gas mileage. Saab's could be FWD 4 cylinder engines hopefully leaving bmw's to remain the way they are/were. Twin turbo v6 F30 m3 sounds horrible to me, I don't know about you. Also they could use a lower priced prestigious European brand to compete with vw. They've done a great job with mini but their too niche. Saab fills those shoes well and they were once loved before gm.
I want a nice set of smoked MHW's (I know, get it line)

I read that BMW wanted them for their FWD technology, whatever that is. They don't need them then. I don't want SAAB "technology" on my BMWs.

However it goes, it will go.

They really need to try a car that can reach a bigger market. They done such a good job with mini I trust they'll to the same with saab. It will only open up the doors for nicer bmw's. Like another z8ish car or M z4 hardtop.

Anyway sorry for cluttering up your thread.

From what I've read, you can have saab for a couple hundred million. I've met in person people who can buy the entire company outright. I think the factory is worth it just to dismantle. From what I understand though the unions in sweden are a dominant part of any deal, and GM oddly still has a say in who buys the brand as there are patents they don't want going to the chinese for example. Looking under the hood, I don't think the ate braking system, the zf steering system, the bosch fuel system, the mitsubishi turbo, or anything else hasn't already been copied by the chinese.

Super true and unfortunate they've had a few buyers already denied by GM

I've got a 2002 9-5 2.3T 5 speed as my daily now. It is an excellent DD. Im currently getting 23 mpg average and around 30 easily on the highway. Its roomy, comfortable, and pretty damn quick. pretty mod-able too!

if you want to mod it, here is a link. great prices too.

I think bmw taking saab is long since cancelled.

The most current news is restarting the brand with electric only vehicles.

it is most likely dead and gone as far as cars it passed the point.

This is the final routing of just the pcv system in an attempt to keep oil controlled. Yeah, looks fun.

saab has had a few terrible technologies but they are in the earlier cars than yours. theres something they used called accordion gaskets with the turbo that are very hard to replace.

theres also the predecessor to the double clutch its in the last models of 900s but its a bad version.

No offense to fans but once in a while they invented something bad just so it could be different.

These things are incredibly simple to work on, and are typically well built. Be careful with the blend door selector, but cycle it all the way at least once a week.

Where was the guy with the 900 vert making 500wtq? You should do that, because who doesn't like FWD peg legging? (seriously that would be a fucking hoot)
