The projectors in the angel eye ones are so much better than the ones in regular hella ellipsoids. Wish I could sell mine right now for 110$ apeice and Id order that set.
The main problem here is like selling something thats normally wholesale and comparing it to retail. So new name brand is 200 apeice but thats a rip off..... I guess if people are that out of touch with ebay and amazon and junkyards thats cool.
Get whatever you can get, especially if this is part of your job....

I have nothing against elixir the op, Just wanted to point out that offering 75$ for a used us ellipsoid sounded about 3 times what Id pay for it. Nothing wrong with offering that at all nothing idiotic.
No offense to anyone trying to sell parts for that much at all good luck.

you have no idea what your even talking about. look up on realoem.com what a REAL set of non-chinese fake leaky copies of the original headlights(for euro cars) costs, then talk to me. and just because a car is 20 summthin years old, does not mean the lights are that old.
I am not rude, I just don't ramble on about things I know nothing about.
the lights are no longer available-- except the french yellow glass-- and they are 456 dollars per side., so that is 900 dollars without bulbs or connectors-- so 180 dollars doesn't sound all that expensive for a good set anymore to me.........
what I am trying to say is there is a fake everything out there nowadays, just because it is "new" doesn't make it good.Comment

Retail is just a ridiculous price. Comparing the price of used parts to new parts doesnt really sell me lol.
If brand new headlights were 400 and the chinese ones were 80$.... id still expect 24 year old hellas ones to be 25$ and Id try to bargain down from there ( 5$ or 10$ off). Is your car worth half what it cost 24 years ago?

If nobody thinks $180 for used ellipsoids aren't worth buying, why anyone would buy those and why anyone would sell those for that kinda price?
I'm sure you saw those lights on r3v or bimmerforum classifieds at some point.
If 20yrs old used hellas are far worse than $180 Chinese knockoff, people wouldn't pay $180 for those. Do you honestly think people who buys used hella/boschs don't know about those ebay euro smileys? I've seen mixed reviews on ebay depo chinsese smileys and that's probably why people would rather have 24 years old headlamps over 'brand new euro smileys for $180'.
