that's cool, never new a site like that existed. Of course everything is about 20 miles away from me :hitler:

When ever I get my next motorcycle I will probably drive the extra distance to get it. Ethanol wreaks havoc on bikes because the engines are so much smaller. I can't tell you how many carb cleanings and fuel system treatments I have had to do because of the stuff

So i looked on that site and found a station near me that sells 89 octane ethanol free. I paid 4.35g. Curious what this is going for around the country

I filled up my tank but I honestly doubt its going to make a difference. I go through a full tank in about 10 days so there is no time for it to sit and corrode or begin generalization. And of course the car is fuel injected so it helps compensate for any moisture accumulated...

But i figured I could so I did

Pretty sure most of the stations around here aren't 10% ethanol yet. I've always used atleast 91. The difference in a fill up is less than $2 so why not?

So drain the tank after a long sit if your engine is octane sensitive. Especially if it's an S14.

It's not just moisture, ethanol contains less energy than gasoline. Pay attention to your fuel mileage, i bet it goes up.

1-2mpg and the car runs better. Probably not worth it on a purely economic basis, but it is nicer.
