just because someone is daydreaming and putting a car up for sale at that price does NOT mean they are selling for that much, like I stated in that other thread. You can get a sport evo for under 40,000k still here in Germany. If I put mine on mobile.de for 50k does that mean I will sell it at that price? No doubt they will def. hit that price one day though.

My buddy just passed on an EVO II a few miles away which is even more rare- for 30,000 euros- in beautiful 1 owner condition.

I was on the fence when I bought mine in 1990. I felt uneasy about putting a somewhat special car into daily driver duty of about 30k miles a year. I was undecided until a fellow car nut said, "If you don't buy it and drive it, somebody else will."

I bought it, drove it everyday, autocrossed, a few track days, and drove it some more. I wore it out, but, now I'm restoring it with care and $$$. Who knows if that "other buyer" would have cared for the car like I do.

There is use and then there is abuse.

That is very true, cars are meant to be driven, especially cars like the e30 m3. Really the main reason I bought mine in this condition is to build it how I want though.
