Went 100 in a 94 high top conversion van. (even scarier than the mini van)

I'm going to go with my sister's 2002 Hyundai Sonata. Reason being is I did a trip with my sister's & was doing 120+ mph for over 2 hours with cruise control on. Turned that 8+ hour trip from Salem, Oregon ~ Coeur d'Alenem Idaho into 4 hours and roughly 20minutes.

It was an experience I'll never forget, & quite frankly need to move to Germany or at least Montana!

1971 Buick Riviera, Stage 3 455 with 2.73 differential. The horizontal speedo went to 125 marked, but on long downgrades, the needle would go behind the cluster, into the oil pressure idiot light cutout, behind again, and reappear in the coolant temperature idiot light cutout. At that point, you were pretty much hauling ass given the suspension, aero, and tire technology of the time. Swanky styling too; 4,400 pound 2-doors FTW

well that car is on a rotisserie that i built for it. I've replaced the entire floor pan with a new one from dynacorn. I'll take some pics tomorrow. I've kind of put this car on the back burner for a while. I had a daughter two years ago and i've been helping my brother and dad with their cars. My brother has an 86e b25 swap, and i'm doing a e24 with and m88 engine for my dad. Now that my e30 is on the road maybe ill get back on it

same basically... my dad's '69 442 455 4 speed. It has a moser 4.11 full spool in it with hotchkiss 3-link suspension.

:edit: e46 m3s are meh. I'd rather have an e36 m3 or a 135i/6.

Fastest or which car made the biggest impression. I drove a friend's C6 Z06 around and did not enjoy it at all; I felt like the car just wanted to kill me.

Another time, I got to tool around the blue ridge parkway in a Porsche 997 turbo with an APR tune. I felt like a demi-god as I could pick a line through a corner and the car made it happen. She made it up to 150+ in very brief time.

Borrowed my cousin's AC Shelby Cobra replica with a 427 and 100 shot of nitrous for my wedding... and lived.

Fastest I've driven is 189mph in a modified e39 m5. That was stupid.


E46 M3 is far inferior. While a good car, it is not deserving of that pedestal.
