As per usual, Charlie is right, same thing with the SVT contour. The Lightning and Cobras are the only ones I can think of that have really been (relatively) popular.
I don't think you can compare the RMS Titanic, aka the "H2" Hummer to a typical euro car, it's girth being about 3-4x larger! I want to slash the fucking tires of every one I see..
There are a few Escorts in the PNW, 2 in Seattle IIRC. They are both legal, and very pretty, very good condition. I've yet to see one in person though, I've always had a soft spot for them. I just wish that we got Cosworth engineering here, their engines are incredible.
And as for that Delta Integrale... I think I just filled the cup. :D
when you say boxy I think of piece o shit refrigerator(se) box scion xb, the european cosworth version of the focus looks cool, the ford falcon with a ~360hp V-8 in austrailia is badass.
I remember watching a "getaway in paris" video with the cosworth and supra.... (might been the first or second one, don't recall).
Simply awesome, wish I had some time to pull up some more pics of them.
man brings back the memories of when you showed me all the cosworths back in the old days. You should post up the old sort. lol. It could be R3v of the week!!! how many cars has ben totalled now?
as per performance cars in america... Americans, in general terms, want comfort and smoothness out of cars, not boxy, harsh, pricey euro rides.

A lancia delta evoluzione 3 door? Crazy shiet.
"Having won more road races than any other model in history, the E30 M3 is considered by many to be the world's most successful road race car." - Simply put, E30s kick ass.
I understand Germany and italy's motivation for screwing us, we wooped dat ass, but Ford? man.
Hiluurrrrious. If there was a market out here for that kind of stuff, I think even North Korea (if they made such cars) would sell them here. Money knows no boundaries. Prinicples and beliefs take a backseat once moneys in the mixture, unfortunately.
