Wow just saw this thread... Very cool. I have a 92' RRC and it's great. I'll Los pics when I'm not on my iPhone. But the 3.9 is a great engine. Just keep maintenance up and makes sure you have $$$ for gas.

I think you're confusing the 3.9 for the 2.8 ;)

Haha! Thanks! I've had more than a few people say they were eyeballing it. I happen to know the PO personally so I kinda got an in, lol. I supplied the flywheel for it, lol.

Doing a bit of research, here's a couple neat facts I've come up with:

Engine: LWB: 4.2 200hp/ 251 lb ft
M52: 193 hp @ 5500/207 lb·ft@ 3500

So I've got some catching up to do, but this thing still takes off pretty damn good.

MSRP when new: $49,200 for the LWB.

So, 19 years later I get this thing for $800.

She just turned over 117k too. :D :D

Wow this makes me miss the disco II I had in high school. I love all rovers so much. I sold mine with 104k. Wish i would've kept her. Some day I'll either own a rover classic or defender 90.
