Well its spray painted flat black over the original paint.. Ill post pics tommorrow you people have to see this. Cant wait to read the comments..

    Cheers,
    Mitch

how much did you pay for it? I've always liked acura's much better than honda's. always liked nissan as well. Do you feel like a street racer now?

i wish i had the money for a winter beater. i almost bought a four door auto eta for $1000 for the winter, but that's way too much money. It had anti-lock brakes (from my experiences, a necessity for winter driving) but of course has no lsd, needed winter tires...

Well, I gots me them there Mercedes Benz for a commuter ride. $500 of German goodness. 1986 300E with "character", from the mostly missing front valence, to how you have to lock it from the passenger door. Rides nice, but really needs a paint job, as well as a few emblems.

So far, my beater rides have been: 1991 Ford Explorer (ie-shopping cart rammer, and mailbox take-it-out-er)

1991 Chevy K5 Blazer (dominated a demolition derby on my nearby lake)
1987 BMW 325iS (yes, it started as a beater......my current project)
and the latest and greatest 1986 Mercedes 300E.
              01 325Ci
              87 325iS w/ M30B35 swap

I was wondering why you'd want harnesses and race seats in a daily (my seats are pushing it, and I'd never want harnesses) but thats a good plan to sell them to make some cash.

Let's drive fast and have fun.

hahaha i used to drive a 93' exploder too. It had brush guards and i hit crap all the time. One time it was raining and went off a jump in a parking lot and got like 1'+ of air, landed and then slammed a shopping cart. needless to say the cart was totaled...haha. I only got like a .5" scratch on my brush guards. Man that was a fun car. But it did brake down a LOT.

My neighbor has a Black 1996 Blazer FS. 206k - I think it could be had for about a grand. Cosmetically very nice. If anyone needs a winter beater, it might be good.

just redline every gear try and win a few races, and whenever the motor goes it goes and you can just sit and laugh about it.

ahhh screw shifting then...just bounce off your rev limiter. I really like the 90-93 intergra's. They are pretty nice and they will last a long time. Great job on scoring one for $500. I can't wait to see pics of it.
