What color is the headliner in your 318iS?

I heard they had black headliners but I have seen some with and some without. No dye jobs please. What did it come with originally?

I have confirmed 51922250903 was fitted to the E30 318i/iS M42, M3 and E28 M5. Now I'm wondering if it was an option or just a matter of exterior/interior color on the 318.

My first E30 was a DS 318is that had a black headliner. I junked the car, not realizing how rare the black headliner is.

My first E30 was a Sterling 318iS, and it had the tan/beige headliner.

I just picked up a Brilliantrot 318iS, and it has a factory black headliner.

Alpine with black vinyl/leatherette originally (swapped to anthracite cloth at some point in its life) and beige/tan/gray whatever you want to call it headliner. I wish every time I sit in the car that the headliner was black, though, haha.

The 91 318is I picked up had a black OEM headliner, although it had no sunroof. It is white and had cardinal red seats, not sure if they were original.

Good to see I wasn't losing my mind. I was talking to a 318iS owner recently about this and he was surprised and said he never seen a 318iS with black headliner.
