    Ok then who here knows how to get a car lifted about 3 ft SAFELY with room to work on the drivetrain?

    As stated before, yes a scissor lift is not optimal, but for those who cannot punch holes into their father-in-law's garage floor to put in a 2 or 4 post lift, it is an option, and an open scissor lift does give access to just about everything you need to get at, but the extra support and hydraulics cause the price to go up, which makes it close to a 2 post lift. But let me repeat that one more time... driving holes into a cement floor that isn't my own is not an option for another year or two.

    I just thought it was a nice tool and if someone where going to give it to me, i wouldn't turn it down.

      You need to drill into the floor with a 4 post hoist. You need to put the dyna bolts somewhere :)
