    Also, does anyone know why they attach the wings on the top vs the bottom?

        Just saw this, but it's for aero reasons (surprise right?) Reason being that there is less disturbance of the airflow beneath the wing resulting in a better low pressure area, and therefore more downforce. At least that is how it was explained to me haha.

          I believe the vertical "fins" (that are part of the two posts holding up the rear wing) help guide/channel the airflow that's coming off the roof smoothly up and over the wing, to maximize the wing's effectiveness. The smooth airflow causes less drag than a more turbulent airflow, also, so it is more fuel-efficient. /Amateur Aerodynamics
