with the few mods i've got it's putting down the factory crank numbers, at the wheel. minimum $ investment. i don't think that's too bad

I like mine too, for comfort, I'll admit for a i6 it's weak, and I really miss 3rd gear since it broke. and the exhaust blows into the passanger cabin and makes my g/f sick, but it gets me to and from work every day with a smile.

          FUCK YEAH ETAS.

Even Jarvis who's now driving my chipped red es admits that these cars are a blast to drive. Theyre just a different experience than driving a swap car on an i - but still lots of fun, just different fun.

          Best daily IMO.

the eta already has 18# injectors just install a 3.0 bar regulator and that m30 afm. make sure to swap the board and the air sensor. after that tune it just right. fuel milage will prob drop some but its well worth it for the extra hp and tq you get.

Really? I never knew that - where'd you find that info out about the injectors? Not saying you're wrong - just wondering where you'd find something like that. Let us know ;)

Different fun? M42. I have to shift at 4k to get anywhere. :)

I love my new m42, but if I were old and drove slow Id rock an eta. Haha no but really the eta is a dream car around town, it cant be beat, but if you ever really want to romp its just not that great shifting at 4500, or 5200 with a chip even.

                        Until I chip it ;)

                        and it's:

"You almost had me? You never had me - you never had your car... Granny shiftin' not double clutchin' like you should. You're lucky that hundred shot of NOS didn't blow the welds on the intake!"

ROTFL! I am Old'n'slow and I drive an eta! It's a chipped super eta, though, and fun as hell to drive. At 90mph I'm chillin' at 3K RPM! Luv da tork! : D
