It runs and drives. Have driven a few times already this year. Just completely stock otherwise. Looks from the side like it doesn't even have a motor the nose sits so high

      Farbin sent me here.
What kind of questions do you have? I've had mine swapped for about four years, and the engine has been super reliable. There is alot of custom work involved- mounts, driveshaft, full exhaust, wiring, water outlet needs to be cut and reclocked, plus anything g aftermarket that you're going to do.
If it's already done, go for it. Make sure it has a lsd differential, and you should be ok for a stock engine.

Interested to see how you ran your exhaust since that's something I have not done yet. Just running a turbo elbow with part of a downpipe since I have plans to run a custom exhaust manifold and different turbo. Also why did you reclock the water outlet?

I'll start by saying that it is lhd. I have a top mount t3 now, and had to do a clocking plate to turn it more. Then a 2.5" downpipe into 3"mandrel pipe.
And the water outlet got chopped and clocked, because the engine sits forward in the bay, and there's no room for the stock upper hose. I had to chop before the dip that goes under the cas, and weld on the end at about a 45* angle. I'll try to remember to take a picture and post it up tonight.

Are you running a s14 sr20det? I never had to modify my water outlet on my LHD swap.

Yeah that is what is holding me back, there is a lot of custom work and that could mean that I'd need some common sense and assistance in fixing things if they go wrong. There is no Bentley manual for a swapped car and I am pretty much diving right into one.But surprisingly you have been running for 4 years on that engine and that does give quite a relief.

Have any of you figured out the tachometer? The one I am looking at doesn't have both of them working. I have heard all sorts of things like hooking up the differential and amplification circuits. It also smells like petrol in the car after a little while.

Mine is a s13 redtop. With the koyo radiator that I have, the outlet sits farther towards the driver side, and would need to be in a N shape to work correctly. My tach doesn't work, but there's a decent write up from a blog called sre30- he has the wiring, resistors, etc mapped out for a signal booster. The petrol smell could be a number of things- shifter seal is most likely as it sits in the passenger compartment.

Did you have to drill a new hole for the shifter? Mine lines up perfectly.

No I am using a modified stock shifter that is bent like a fox body mustang shifter.
