Also, without clutch return pressure from the pressure plate, the clutch pedal will go straight to the floor and stay.
Replace the hydraulics and all will be well. More than likely the slave went out, but it's really easy and cheap to replace both of them.
Yeah I realized that. Typo. :???:
Ordered new hydro parts from the Blunt man

Nice Score! Typically if there is brake fluid on the carpet area under or near the clutch pedal its the Clutch Master Cylinder. If no detectable fluid inside the cabin then its the Clutch Slave cylinder underneath the car. Mounted to the transmission as I recall.
I purchased a Lifetime Warranty Slave cylinder from Autozone when mine went out years ago. Pay once - Enjoy forever!
Judging by the pic of your steering wheel you were REALLY excited to get this car!

great pickup OP. about the clutch, i'd flush and bleed the system, maybe the clutch master/slave as previously mentioned if that doesn't do the trick.
just to be redundant, do the tbelt, valve adjustment, plugs and seafoam. maybe new CABs RTABs engine/trans mounts and subframe bushings and it'll drive something wonderful!
