the auto trans did have a design flaw that caused a lot to fail before 100k. but if it has over 100k, chances are it was serviced and is fine. i forgot, but it had something to do with it not being able to take a lot of rpms constantly. not really an issue with autos tbh.
that 3.64 is going to give you better mpg than stock. slower acceleration too.
you can't rev it in P or N. it doesn't really have anything to do with sustained revs, although I did beat the hell out of mine in an autox and managed to get it a little overheated. :)
