    M6 & M8 Thread-pitch.....

    Just a quick one before I go out and buy a Helicoil set...

    I took a look on realoem.com to check on the thread pitch's of the M6 & M8's used on the m42 but they list only the length on the fasteners. So are they actually M6 x 1.0, or what???? I'm not home so I have no hardware or thread pitch guage handy.

    Can someone help me out??

    I know they are finer then 1.0 I think they are 1.5 for the M8's at least.

          You are correct, typo :(

          m8x1.25 is standard thread, m8x1.5 is coarse and less common.
