Had a problem like this, you need to 1. Prove the decibal level to be under your states legal amount. 2. Prove your exhaust system is stock and passed smog with it, to do this take it to your local referee station show them the fix it ticket and they will run an inspection, it should run you around $31 if your in Cali like me. If it passes the inspection they will sign off your ticket right there and then you send your ticket into the local court. Cheers dudeLeave a comment:

Wow, CA fail. Here in MD, that would be an inspection ticket which means you have 10 days to get it fixed. Inspection by the PD is free and there is no fine involved, plus I've never heard of someone being written a ticket for stock exhaust. On historic vehicles which are 20 model year or older vehicles, they can't even write inspection tickets. I've been driving my e30 with an open downpipe and no hood, lol.Leave a comment:

What is palmfish bitching about? Let it go, he had a loud muffler regardless of it being stock or not, and he did deal with the punshment. It's just a bitch when there's crack blatently being sold in the Tenderloin, any narcotic you can think of at Turk X Leavenworth, with tons of other shit going on and he gets a muffler ticker. Sounds like their priorities are a little skewed, I'd be pissed too.Leave a comment:

It's also obvious that you're not a "man" or you would've answered my question instead of skirting around it. Go explain that to your kids.Last edited by =======Live Fast!; 06-30-2012, 05:40 PM.Leave a comment:

It is already obvious that you behave like a child when behind the wheel of your "toy." No need for you to spell it out.Last edited by palmfish; 06-30-2012, 11:08 AM.Leave a comment:
