well if lease then you get a kia sportage, if you buy then get something euro because it will hold its value better but usually more exspensive off the bat.

Try finding a 2013 Escape that isn't whored to the hilt with options. We just got a Subaru Outback but my wife also liked the CR-V. The Jetta Sportwagon TDI w/DCT was fantastic but abit pricey (and we've had nothing but bad luck with VWs). The Chevy Equinox was roomy but underpowered with the base 4-cyl. The Subie Forester is abit dated (can you believe a 4-spd auto) but fits the price target. Lots of choices out there.Sterling Silver 1990 325i BMWCCA #24133

My vote goes with the Escape as well. I had an '06 as a company car and put 140K miles on it with no issues at all. I actually missed it when they took it back and gave me a Camry. I hated that Camry.

Shopping with my father is almost adversely productive. He drove us to Bellevue, 30mi or so. Just to drive through the car lot then left, without getting out and looking, how are w supposed to find a car without trying them lol.
He said he didn't want to get dealerized.... I usually tell then to shove off till I walk into the office with the check.1989 BMW 325is | 2019 Ford Ranger FX4willschnitz

Get the new BMW X1 that's now being offered.
With the right negotiations and doing European Delivery (you get to drive it around on the Autobahn!!), it can be had starting in the high 20's. PM if you have any questions about Euro Delivery. I'm definitely doing euro delivery again for my next new car!
