Hi guys! Longtime creeper, first time poster here. I've slowly become more and more obsessed with e30's in the last year or two and I think it's about time for me to take that big step and actually get one. There's a car that i'm looking at now, 91' 318 is, that seems almost perfect. It's needs a bit of engine work due to the fact that the previous owner was in the middle of turboing it, but the engine has previously been completely redone (new head w/ valves and all new gaskets). Suspension has also been redone and it has an e36 steering rack in it. I was wondering what you guys thought of it. Any help is appreciated!!
What do you guys think?

Doesn't look too bad; I love the white/tan color scheme. Why does the rear look significantly lower than the front?sigpic'87 335iComment

Low american rear arches.
I wouldn't buy that for 3k. It is nearly a 3k car without the ebay turbo kit. That will most likely be unreliable. I wouldn't trust a car that had a turbo kit installed by someone else other than a few trusted forum members. Also, what is up with the knee bolster under the steering wheel. It makes me think the car is hacked together.Comment

I see what you mean. Well, i'm going to test drive tomorrow, so i can always ask about it. The guy has seemed pretty straight forward so far, hopefully he'll be honest about it. We shall see.Comment
