    Eisenmann legal in CA?

Was doing some research on getting a Borla Pro XS for my eta but i stumbled across an Eisenmann video clip and damn it sounds nice. I pulled up it on a search and it seems majority of it is sold in Europe? Do anyone have an Eisenmann installed and is it CA legal?? (in terms of loudness, im a noob so idk if it really applies to the laws) If its not i might save up and get that or get the Pro XS

This is the Eisenmann clip im referring to

Sounds nice and I think it sounds okay unless you rev it too high.

I believe there's a decibel limit in CA. You're gonna have to look that up and then see how loud the eisenmann gets. My guess is that it's likely not really legal but you should be fine since it doesn't seem obnoxious.
The first car I ever rode in was an e30

Idle they aren't that loud, but when you revv it up over 4000rpm all hell breaks loose. First time I drove to the centre of town between two old churches and revved it to the max. Man, I really could not stop smiling.

Eisenmann SS is a bit louder.

                    Easy...

When you install it have them weld on flanges. When you get a fix it ticket, just bolt up your stock exhaust, get it signed off and throw back on the Eisenmann!

It all depends on circumstances. In every day driving you probably won't get pulled over, but there may be that one 3am spirited drive where an officer is pissed he got called in on his day off-hears it and decides to write you up. You never know

The race exhaust is definitely louder - but sounds sick as hell

I'm not aware of a 'sound law' in Calif but I guess the legal question is deemed by the cop who pulls you over. There are some out there who wouldn't bother, but there are others who would. My well broken in Stromung makes plenty of noise (friends have told me how they can hear me approaching from a distance), however, I've driven by many cops who are parked on the shoulder looking to nab someone and they've never pulled me over. Of course, I tend to drive more sedate on roads in urban areas. In rural settings it can be a different story :-)
