I still dont understand why they are associated with rice in the first place. Perhaps cuz some "rice" mods hail from race cars in general and some people have a knee jerk cultural reaction to anything that Japanese Import cars have on their cars. I dunno. I thought this mod was ultimately DTM/German. I never even knew the "import scene" knew about this "mod". Im still doing it, fuck it. Dont forget that every time one of my non-knowledgeable homies sees me open my hood, they wonder why it opens in that direction. They think that factory had it open like that. bleh

The only connection I can see to rice is when some people simply remove one of their wiper blades, and angle the other one for the mono wiper look.
