#1 - Don't buy any camera that has 0x optical zoom. (Thus scratch out #2 on your list).

What will you be using the camera for? Kris (bimmerphile) is a photo nut, ask him.

I have the Sony that is one step below that one sitting next to me... I don't like it. Get a Nikon Coolpix.

Nikon and Olympus both make great cameras.

It's kind of like owning a BMW vs a Porsche.

I liked my sony point and click, i would recommend the product. I like thier cameras enough to upgrade to another sony when I wanted a manual. Mine was just the 2mp one with no optical zoom. My friend Barrett ditched his Coolpix for a sony just like mine.

I really liked the memory sticks. They were fast enough and could take a beating. My dumbass left one in my pocket when I came back and ran it through the laundry. I found it when folding my jeans, hooked it up, and downloaded the images off of it. The images made it fine.

I still have it and it still works.

I just bought an Olympus 4.1 mp for $299. It's the new one with the $40.00 rebate and weather resistant it's sweet.

I got the C-50 Olympus. 5.0mp and the quality is just wow.

Got it for 410 shipped on eBay semi-new, but it mint condition in the box with an extra remote control ( I have 2 ), a 32mb card, a 128mb card and a cover for the camera.

Good deal...... just look around eBay and you'll see some good deals yourself. :)
