Help me pick the design in which I should reupholster my seats

Its time to reupholster my e30 sport seats. What design should I choose?

I was thinking something like this:

Any other styles I should consider? I will also consider custom non-rice styles.

That's actually exactly the style I want to do my interior in, so I say go for it! Pardon the noob question, but what's the style called? It was an OE option, wasn't it?

There, take a look. There's a couple of good patterns in this thread. Ask any questions if you have any.

here are my (new) seats- found them in a VERT in the junkyard a few months ago, they were trashed and the frames were broken all over the place. took em part welded the frames and rebuilt them from a few different seats. They are still the large plaid (the E30M3 later models had a similar pattern, but with a smaller checkerboard, evo II had the same plaid but with grey leather sides)

I dig the plaid, but would trade them in a second for a set of black leather.

^^^Love that interior! There is an E30 M3 back seat section here with the same pattern, but owner wants $$$ for it.

If you aren't set on cloth, cardinal leather looks great in alpinweiss.

+1. Cardinal red plaid would be hot if you could find it.
