thank you. that right there is the advice i was looking for. as a college student with a low-wage job and just getting into the e30 scene, i would be running screaming. ill step away from this one and leave it for someone who can do something with it. the video on the site sounds pretty epic though :D

A running v8 e30 for 5k? Who the hell wouldn't want it?? All the hard swap stuff is done. Even if the engine blows up on you it's a million times easier to swap in a new m62 than it would be to go from an m20 to an m62.

Everything is easy on the internet duh. Just pull the motor and put in a new one. I just said that in about 3 seconds. Its a little harder than a 3 second job, but shit, plug and play.
