When people think that their car is super built because it essentially has bolt-ons.
Plenty of other things bother me, somethings listed in the thread, not so much. If someone is knowledgeable I don't think they're stupid because they use passe words. I know the 'proper' term for N2O is nitrous, but there have been times I've said "Nawwws" without thinking about it. Who cares. You're a douche bag if you stop people mid sentence and correct them, because you knew exactly what they were talking about.'84 318i M10B18 147- Safari Beige

Is it acceptable to bump this with one that I don't see in here? I hate it when people say "kit". Like "Short shift kit" or "lowering kit". And I personally think "paint job" sounds ignorant but that may just be me.The first car I ever rode in was an e30

What age groups are we talking here? If you're older and he was younger, that's just disrespectful. If you're younger and he was older that's a mid life crisis.

When I was on the Nissan Titan forums, "Lift Kit" was used religiously. Whether it was a basic/generic spindle + rear block configuration, or an all out custom long travel kit with "xxx spindles, F+R King remote reservoir coils/rear shocks, King bump stops, NCD upper + lower control arms, Deaver leaf springs, shackles, limit straps, etc"-it didn't matter. "Kit" was used for any combination of parts (from basic to complex) that would be a plug and play set up.Last edited by Rsully70sev; 09-17-2012, 10:58 PM.

stage one is a non intercooled 6 psi superchager
stage two adds intercooling, different programming, larger injectors and 7 psi
stage two + adds cams, headers, 8.5 psi, even larger injectors and different programming
stage three is a complete rebuild on top of the above with lower compression pistons, a ton of headwork, larger valves, titanium retainers, double springs, etc, etc, etc
