I know how stupid I was, and all kinds of other names I can say lol. Like I stated before even though it sounds stupid, I was trying to give a person a chance like other didn't to me. Nonetheless, I have learned :hitler: all day.

This is still all bad, I just advised him that for all the drama and headaches I now want a total payment of $1000.00 or I will be collecting the car. He did make a few payments since post, but I have a hunt him down all the time, and he even stated all would be paid but again same old story. I am putting the pressure now sorry. Name of this guy is Romeo,but he always states Vinnie. Shit I even found a thread he started under another "identity" so I would not see it lmao I know it you bro.

To add one last thing to those whom know buyer. Of he had it so hard how was it that mods to the car started right away like top,diff, etc. And he decides in the middle of shit to also get an apartment to prove to his girl he can be man.

he stole it all (like your car). and will probably HAVE to pay rent or be evicted..so, his priorities and monies are changed....you will not be his top priority any longer. (if even in the top 5)

This happened to me too. I sold a car to a friend, they wanted the car right away and would pay me in a few days.....friend wrecks car. I never get paid. Lesson learned.

i sell him my celica for 50bucks, and 25 bucks a month till the grand total of 500 bucks and title will be his...just enough to keep beer in my fridge, and he gets his life back on track...

then, low and behold, 1st week he drives through a median, takes out conrtol arm and steering rack... and we re-weld the suspension back up no charge...

one week later, loses job.
immediately after that..starts doing drugs...or sooner, really don't know.
crashes car, or totals it...really i have no real idea what happened to it, just disappeared and he was still around with cuts and bruises....and no car.

weeks later, he is back in jail, and we never see him again... too much of a fuck up..

we tried, as much as we could, but i still lost a decent car, and $$, and what used to be a friend.

what i would do in your shoes....
take collateral if you can, he's got to have something...tv, xbox, ps3, iphone, stereo, something that will inspire him to remember his oath(s)...and get car back asap...
strip all parts he added and sell them, then sell the car back to him at full price....im going off on a rant now...

Update still gave me the run around. I now decided if on Tuesday I don't get a payment like he promised, he will regret doing business with me. This is a BIG lesson for me no more will I be a nice guy business is business. He did put car under his name do to my dumb az giving up reg. etc.

I take it you have his address...and I take it he lives with his parents...have you considered talking to them about the whole situation?

A few weeks ago some bloat called me begging for my e39 540 I had for sale for $4500.
It's been for sale for about a month as nobody wants an auto 540. we came to a mutual agreement on $4000. I get the car cleaned and prepped and ready to roll. I call him with the place to meet and he gives me this shit about how his parents couldn't give him all the money. I then tell him "Sorry, call me when you get the cash". not to be a dick but I've been there and done that waaaay too many times. I'm a hard seller and I've sold way too many cars for my age.
He calls back crying about how he really needs the car and it's his dream car. I say "great, so get the cash and come get your dream car!" he says fine and thanks anyway.


5hrs lateer he calls back again crying and begging saying he'll bring $3100 now and will give me some more when he's able.
I talk to my GF and she tells me to stop being a dick and get rid of it before it cost me more $$$. I say fuck it and he comes to get the car. He doesn't even look at anything just gets in and drives off. No documents were signed however I did take a picture of his ID and made him sign a bill of sale however, he did not get a copy. the very next day my car is on craigslist for double what he paid me!
I''m still thinking about calling the cops and reporting it stolen just because the fucker lied to me. I was plaid. I'm calmer about the whole thing now and just bit the bullet and said fuck it. Shit happens.

Just turn in the release of liability form into the DMV ASAP to save yourself from more problems like tickets and parking violations.

So what was the total amount you sold the car for? I'm not sure if I missed it...

He gave him the pink though brooo. He could have registered it in his name already like he legit sold it to him. Now that there's no formal, written, signed contract for payments, he might be SOL.

During an auto purchase I always take the time to fill out the pink together, write a formal bill of sale stating the amount paid, and even have some friends there as witnesses. Anyone could just claim:

"We agreed on a deposit then payments."
..."No, I paid for the car in full."
......"Do you have proof payments were to be be made?"
...........
