I test drove a nismo 350 a few years back, definitely a fun car to drive but didn't feel as quick as I was expecting. The car looked great with the added nismo parts on it, but that's all I truely liked. The ride was decent as well and handled fairly. I've heard people say a z4 would be the better choice if you can afford one although I've never driven one. Just my 2¢

S2000s are terrible. If you wan t the whole "I'm 16 and have a rich dad" boy racer feel then great. The are quick, no doubt about that, but they just don't feel good IMO. Super revy and negative torque, almost like driving a loud chihuahua you can sit in. Plus if you're at all tall ( I'm 6'2"ish) then the S2 is simply not comfortable.Plus, you will be associated with the Honduh crowd. Between and S2 and a 350 I would go 350, but either way you will automatically be labelled either a car-dumbass( Honduh) of Super Douche ( 350Z) by passersby.

S2000 off engineering excellence alone. The F20C, at 123.45 HP/L, held the record for producing the highest specific power output for any mass production naturally aspirated piston engine until Ferrari released the 458 Italia in 2010, which produces 124.5 HP/L.

S2k is twice the car a 350z is. 350z is slow, fat, and heavy. If your all about being "dope" looking get the z. If you want to have fun get the s2k. If you want the bmw side look at z3m and z4m models. They are fun too.

And that engine is also pretty much at it's max, I know 2 people personally who don't beat on their cars and keep up on maintenance and have dropped valves in bone stock S2s ( one at 55k miles and the other at 81k)....I just don't see the longevity factor in an engine that is walking the line of destruction....which is one of the reasons why Honda upped the displacement in the AP2 cars.Just what I've seen though. They do handle superbly...
