    Need help on buy

Alright a guy e mailed me some pictures and little detail and idk if he is on here, but I want to see what you guys think if I should spend my time with it. I'll put the pics he sent me. This is what he said for a description, "I have a Alpine white 2 door 5 speed, 89 with plastic bumpers."
if you can look closely at the front of the car (3rd uploaded picture) there is a nice doink right under the kidney's. and it almost looks like the right front quarter is raised significantly above the hood line. He also took the picture of the front of the car away from where it looks like there could be significant damage. He has yet to tell me how many miles are on the car.

    it's not an 89. either a 90 or a 91.

im 99% sure that hit under the kidneys is superficial. you could pull it back out. there is nothing behind it, it's just sheet metal.

Go check it out. We can't help you much beyond what you have already noticed.

Look for the regular things such as rust and the likes. Ask questions. Find out what kind of maintenance has been done recently, namely the timing belt. Find out how many miles and the title status. Ask why the taillights aren't stock and what prompted the painting of the intake manifold and that rice-tastic blue hosing.

How hard would it be to replace the piece that is hit? Because my dads ix is messed up also.

Removing the valence is super easy, and hammering that out I'm sure would be easy even for someone who has never done it, or a shop could do it for pretty cheap I'm sure.

Be sure to ck clearance between aux fan and body structure. My 91 took a hit in the front hard enough to push it into the fans shaft, never noticed it until aux fan gave out from being pushed in. You allready noticed the fenders out of line, be sure to follow the frame rail back to the strut tower looking for wrinkles where the rail and tower connect, compare both sides, you will notice the difference if there is damage.
