haha, good point. if they'd done work to it, i'm sure they would have taken pics

in classes that allow it, the idea is to have a completely flat bottom formed from panels. it helps to increase downforce. this is a very simplified explanation.

i dont know when i was helping with a car, we ran aluminum underbody and for proper "flow" or whatever you want to call it, it was ideal to run the metal around the whole border of the car, like where you see the flares extended to run under the side skirt.
