Figured I'd introduce myself. Just picked up a 92 vert that the owner let the timing belt go on. It went straight to the shop and sits now with the motor alomost ready to come out. Picked up a B27i set up to go in it. Next is the 5 speed swap. Still trying to source parts for that. If you got em let me know. Oh yeah did I mention it has a hard top!! Thats the main reason I jumped on this one. I have high hopes for this car. I have been looking for a good start to a project for awhile now. I have learned so much already on R3V, and am sure I will get lots of future help as well.

And this is after day one of work.



I got some more done today after work. Just need to disconnect the driveshaft, prob take out the radiator and the motor is ready to come out.

Its got the i head and all the other i stuff. I plan on a turbo set up later, but want to at least drive it befor I start that one.

That is the one thing on the car that is not for sale. I'm pulling all the vinyl off it now, then we will see how much body work it needs before paint. I'm guessing a lot!

That's a steel just the top might be worth that !!! Lol

You should get some stuff power coated on the engine bay will change your car a lot !!!

Yeah the tops seem to be hard to come by. I will have to tackle all the pretty stuff for the engine when I have the final set up in there. Yeah I am doing the paint and body, I'm a painter.;)

Same color, even after I swore I would never own another black car. I now have two, LOL. That's what a pain in the ass it is to do a color change right.

yeah good pickup, back when i was gonna get a vert i was looking into hardtops, cheapest one i found was like 650$ picked up & it was in Canada.
Can't wait to see some progress.

Never seen a hardtop on a vert before, looks nice. Please remove that chrome wheel well trim, the rest of the car looks so nice but that just ruins it IMO...Extremely good deal though!
