I had 240 wagon with stick... That thing was so smooth. Bought it a garage sale for $600. Car wouldn't die but I was afraid my kids were going to fall out of the bottom. The floor rusted away, but the carpet was still holding strong.

I still don't get the whole electronic overdrive thing. Come one Sweden....

Anywho, I fixed the front left window. Needs adjustment, but I got past the point of caring and just go it to go up and stay.

Overdrive works now. After fiddling a bit I got it to downshift when I hit the buhtoon. Also his trans fluid was at the min mark, if not a little below. Told him if he knew what was good for him to top it up, as I have no auto trans fluid at the house.

Also, just a shameless plug, we've got two 240s for sale at work. a 1990 245, and a 1992 sedan.

240 Wagons cost an arm & a leg over here in Germany. For a 242gt or something, be prepared to give up a kidney on top of the other appendages.

I have an '85 240DL 4spd + OD sedan in college. Loved that car to death, a Volvo had never been driven so hard. Hella rally's, striped, IPD springs & exhaust, ghettofab K&N cone. And +1 on the push-button OD, work internittenly when I bought it, then gave up eventually. 60mph@3k, 80mph@4k and so on......
